Vatan Tinta de Toro is a powerful red wine from the Toro region, made exclusively from Tinta de Toro, the local, thick-skinned clone of Tempranillo, sourced from very old vineyards that naturally limit yields and concentrate flavor. The vineyards are planted on sandy and stony soils under extreme continental conditions, with hot summers and cold winters, which give the wine both intensity and structure.

Fermentation and aging are carried out with precision, followed by extended maturation in French oak barrels, allowing the wine to gain depth without masking its varietal character. In the glass, Vatan shows a deep, dark ruby color and an expressive aromatic profile dominated by black fruit, ripe plum, and blackberry, layered with notes of spice, cocoa, and subtle mineral nuances.

On the palate, it is full-bodied and dense, with firm yet well-integrated tannins and a strong backbone of freshness that balances its natural power. The finish is long, concentrated, and persistent, reflecting the rugged character of Toro’s terroir.
