Supremo is a red wine produced by the Kabola winery in northwestern Istria, created as a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and the indigenous Teran variety. The grapes are sourced from vineyards around the Momjan area, where the combination of Mediterranean climate and mineral-rich soils contributes to the wine’s structure and depth.
After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels, allowing it to develop additional complexity and a well-rounded character. It displays a deep ruby color and an aromatic profile dominated by notes of dark fruits such as blackberry, blackcurrant and plum, accompanied by hints of vanilla, spice and subtle smoky nuances.
On the palate the wine is full-bodied and structured, with well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity that supports its richness. The finish is long and persistent, with lingering fruit and gentle spice notes.
Supremo represents one of the more structured red blends in the Kabola portfolio, combining international varieties with the character of the Istrian terroir.
