Graševina Kasna Berba is a late-harvest white wine produced by Krauthaker from carefully selected Graševina grapes harvested at a higher level of ripeness than those used for standard dry wines. The grapes are typically picked later in the season, when natural sugar levels and aromatic concentration are significantly increased, allowing the variety to develop a richer and more complex profile.
In the glass the wine usually shows a deeper golden-yellow color and an expressive aromatic bouquet with notes of ripe peach, apricot, honey and dried fruit, accompanied by subtle floral nuances characteristic of Graševina. On the palate it is full and rounded, with noticeable sweetness balanced by fresh acidity that prevents the wine from becoming heavy.
The texture is smooth and concentrated, with layered fruit flavors and a lingering finish. Krauthaker’s approach to Graševina often highlights the variety’s versatility, demonstrating that it can produce not only fresh and mineral wines but also structured late-harvest styles.
Graševina Kasna Berba is typically served well chilled and pairs well with fruit-based desserts, pastries, blue cheeses or foie gras. It can also be enjoyed on its own as a dessert wine thanks to its balance between sweetness, acidity and aromatic intensity.
