Stella Chardonnay from Ktima Katsarou is one of the estate’s flagship white wines, crafted in a style inspired by Burgundy, with a strong emphasis on complexity and aging potential. It is produced from grapes grown at high-altitude vineyards on the slopes of Mount Olympus, where cooler conditions help preserve freshness and aromatic precision.

Fermentation and maturation take place in French oak barrels, often with extended lees contact, resulting in a fuller body, creamy texture, and layered structure. The aromatic profile includes citrus, peach, and ripe white fruit, complemented by notes of butter, vanilla, and brioche from oak influence.

On the palate, the wine is rich and rounded, balanced by vibrant acidity that provides freshness and length. With time, it can develop additional nuances of hazelnut, honey, and subtle smokiness, enhancing its complexity.

Produced only in selected vintages, Stella Chardonnay is a limited and age-worthy wine that pairs well with rich seafood, creamy dishes, and white meats in refined sauces.
