La Molisana is an Italian producer of pasta, flour, and tomato products based in Campobasso, in the Molise region. Founded in 1912 as an artisanal pasta factory by the Carlone family, it has grown into one of Italy's oldest and most renowned food companies. In 2011, the company was acquired by the Ferro family, long-established producers of durum wheat and flour, creating a fully integrated production chain that combines wheat milling and pasta manufacturing under the same ownership. La Molisana produces its pasta exclusively from high-quality durum wheat, with a strong emphasis on ingredient traceability, quality control, and traditional production methods. In addition to pasta, its product range includes flour, semolina, tomato products, and other specialty foods for both the domestic and international markets.
