Laberinto

Sauvignon Blanc

4.0 ·

The Sauvignon Blanc from Laberinto Wines comes from high-altitude vineyards in the D.O. Colbún area of the Maule Valley, where a cool Andean climate and volcanic soils strongly define its style.

The grapes are hand-harvested to preserve aromatic precision and natural acidity, and vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel tanks, without the use of oak. This approach allows for a pure varietal expression and a clear reflection of terroir.

The wine shows a pale straw color with green highlights and a focused aromatic profile of citrus, lime, and grapefruit, supported by subtle tropical notes and a distinct mineral edge. On the palate it is linear, taut, and highly fresh, driven by vibrant acidity that gives energy and length.

The finish is clean and persistent, often described as stony or volcanic in character. The overall style is precise and restrained, favoring tension and elegance over overt aromatic exuberance.

This Sauvignon Blanc is widely regarded as a strong example of a modern, terroir-driven Chilean expression of the variety.
