Langside Meats is a family-owned meat producer operating from a farm near Queenstown in South Africa’s Eastern Cape province. The company belongs to the Prinsloo family, who have raised livestock and produced grass-fed, pasture-reared beef and lamb since 1965. The family business was founded by Pieter Prinsloo.

The animals are raised on open pastures, with an emphasis on ethical treatment, controlled sourcing, and the traceability of every cut from the animal and farm to the finished product.

The range includes fresh cuts of beef and lamb, steaks, minced meat, brisket, sausages, braai products, meat boxes, beef bacon, biltong, and droëwors. A distinctive feature of its dried-meat products is the use of unrefined Oryx Desert Salt from the Kalahari.
