Le Macchiole is a family-owned wine estate in Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, founded in 1983 by Eugenio Campolmi and Cinzia Merli with the purchase of their first four-hectare vineyard. Following Eugenio’s death in 2002, Cinzia took over the management of the estate and is now joined by their sons, Elia and Mattia Campolmi.
