Lingham’s is a historic Malaysian hot sauce brand founded in 1908 in Butterworth, Penang. Its founder, an Indian immigrant known as Mr. Lingam, created a sweet and spicy sauce inspired by the flavours of his homeland. After the Second World War, the business was acquired by Ooi Choo Hong, while Lingham & Sons (Malaysia) has been managed by Yeoh Jin Beng and Yeoh Jin Hoe since 2012.
