Gạo Thiên Vương is an aromatic long-grain rice produced by the Vietnamese company Lộc Trời. It is made from the Lộc Trời 28 variety which was developed by the company’s research team by crossing Indian basmati with Lộc Trời 1. The uncooked grains are long, slender, uniform, and slightly translucent. During cooking, the rice develops a distinctive aroma combining jasmine with notes of pandan leaf. The cooked grains have a soft and elastic texture without pronounced stickiness. The flavor is rich and mildly sweet with a lingering sweetness. The variety is adapted to Vietnam’s climate and local cultivation practices. The rice is produced through a controlled chain covering seed selection, cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging. It is suitable for everyday dishes in which separate grains, a soft texture, and the natural aroma of rice are desired.
