The passata is produced by sieving fresh, fully ripe tomatoes to remove the skins and seeds, resulting in the smooth, homogeneous texture characteristic of traditional passata di pomodoro. It contains only three ingredients: 100% Italian yellow tomatoes, basil, and salt.
