Maniacal Mead is a meadery from Ypsilanti, Michigan, founded in 2017 with the idea of bringing mead closer to a wider audience and breaking the stereotype that it is a drink reserved only for lovers of tradition and mythology. The founders wanted to show how diverse mead can be – from classic styles to experimental variations with fruit, spices, and herbal notes.
