Plaža Plavac is a premium red wine produced by Marijan Winery from 100% Plavac Mali, the most important indigenous red grape variety of Dalmatia. The grapes are sourced from sun-drenched vineyards on the island of Hvar, where the Mediterranean climate, rocky soils, and strong maritime influence allow the fruit to reach exceptional ripeness and concentration.

The wine displays a deep ruby-red color and a distinctive character typical of high-quality Plavac Mali. Its bouquet reveals aromas of ripe dark cherries, plums, dried figs, and raisins, complemented by subtle hints of Mediterranean herbs and mineral notes.

On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, and powerfully structured, with ripe tannins and a long, persistent finish. Plaža Plavac showcases the variety’s hallmark intensity and warmth while maintaining freshness and balance.

With an alcohol content of approximately 16.2%, it offers remarkable depth and concentration, making it a compelling expression of Hvar’s unique wine-growing terroir.
