Marukou Saito Suisan is a Japanese seafood producer based in Biwase, in the town of Hamanaka in eastern Hokkaido, specializing in farming, processing, and selling sea urchin (uni). Its sea urchin farming dates back to 2001, when Saito and 14 other members of the local fishing cooperative began trial cultivation in the waters off Hamanaka. Commercial farming began in 2003.
