Masseria Pezze Galere is a family-run olive estate located in Fasano, in the Puglia region of southern Italy, with olive oil production dating back to 1859. The property includes around 3,000 olive trees, among them approximately 700 centuries-old monumental specimens that reflect the deep agricultural history of the area.

The estate cultivates mainly native Apulian varieties such as Coratina, Ogliarola Salentina, Leccino, Frantoio, and Picholine, allowing both monovarietal oils and carefully balanced blends. Olives are harvested from the family’s own groves and cold-pressed shortly after picking to preserve aromatic intensity and phenolic integrity.

The resulting extra virgin olive oils are typically characterized by medium to robust fruitiness, with notes of green almond, artichoke, fresh grass, and a structured bitterness and pungency, especially in oils with a higher Coratina content. Production follows a quality-oriented approach, with strong attention to traceability and sustainable agricultural practices.

In addition to olive oil production, the masseria integrates agritourism activities, offering tastings and on-site experiences that connect visitors with the local olive-growing culture. The combination of historical continuity, varietal identity, and territorial expression defines the profile of Masseria Pezze Galere’s oils.
