Grimalda Zelena is a white wine produced by the Matošević winery in central Istria, made primarily from the Malvazija Istarska grape variety sourced from vineyards near the village of Grimalda. The grapes are carefully selected and fermented under controlled conditions, after which the wine matures partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks to achieve balance between freshness and complexity.

The wine displays a bright golden-yellow color and an aromatic profile characterized by notes of ripe apple, pear and citrus, accompanied by subtle floral and herbal nuances. On the palate it is medium to full-bodied, with well-integrated acidity and a rounded texture supported by gentle oak influence.

The finish is long and harmonious, highlighting both fruit and mineral tones typical of Malvazija grown in the hilly terroir of central Istria. Grimalda Zelena represents a more structured and layered style of Malvazija within the Matošević portfolio, emphasizing both varietal character and the influence of the Grimalda vineyard site.
