Matsuya Shuzō is a Japanese sake brewery based in Fujioka, Gunma Prefecture. The family business began as a rice merchant in Toyama Prefecture and started brewing sake in the late 19th century. It moved to Fujioka in 1951, when the present company was established. Its labels include the locally known Hiraijō and Tōsen, as well as the newer Ruka brand.
