Matuško Dingač Royal Selection Barrique is a complex red wine made from 100% Plavac Mali, sourced from the highest and sunniest slopes of the Dingač appellation on the Pelješac Peninsula. Aged in barrique barrels, the wine gains depth, elegance, and layered aromatic expression.
It displays a deep ruby-garnet color, while the nose reveals rich notes of ripe black cherries, blackberries, dried figs, vanilla, black tea, leather, and smoke. On the palate, it is full-bodied, powerful, and well-rounded, with pronounced yet refined tannins and a long, opulent finish.
The high alcohol is well integrated, supporting the structure and complexity. This wine is a concentrated reflection of the Dingač terroir - rocky soils, abundant sunlight, and winemaking tradition rooted in every sip.
It is intended for lovers of bold, mature wines with aging potential and pairs excellently with grilled meats, aged cheeses, and game dishes.
