Hopped Molley from Molley Chomper Cidery is a semi-sweet cider with 6.7% ABV that blends tradition and experimentation in one release. It is made from late-ripening apple varieties from North Carolina and Virginia, and after fermentation it undergoes a dry hopping process with Cascade hops from Tink’s Hop Farm.
Over several days, the cider was carefully tasted to achieve the optimal balance between fruit and hops, after which it was left to mature for several months to harmonize the flavors. The result is a drink with orchard blossom aromas, apple, pear, and lychee, enriched with citrus and floral notes from the hops.
The flavor is fruity and refreshing, with the gentle sweetness of apple and a subtle hop bitterness that adds complexity without overpowering. The texture is smooth and medium-light, with pleasant carbonation that enhances its refreshing character.
The finish delivers a long, layered aftertaste where apple, hops, and herbal nuances intertwine.
