White Coffee Classic is a 3-in-1 instant white coffee mix produced by the Malaysian brand OldTown. It was developed as a convenient version of traditional Ipoh white coffee, a beverage closely associated with the city of Ipoh in Perak. The coffee component is based on OldTown’s signature blend of Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica beans, which are roasted under controlled conditions to develop their characteristic caramelized aromas. Arabica contributes sweet and nutty notes, Robusta provides body and a deeper roasted flavor, while Liberica gives the coffee a lingering finish. The instant mix also contains sugar and non-dairy creamer made primarily from glucose syrup and palm kernel oil, with sodium caseinate derived from milk, emulsifiers, and stabilizers. Once prepared, the coffee has a rich, smooth, and distinctly creamy texture, a pronounced aroma, mild roasted notes, and a sweet, long-lasting aftertaste. One sachet can be dissolved directly in hot water without adding milk or sugar, while the drink can also be chilled and served over ice.
