Ostrich Co-Op Ostrich Biltong is a traditional South African cured-meat product made by the family-owned Ostrich Co-Op in Gauteng Province.

It is produced from traceable ostrich meat sourced from the company’s own farm. The meat is seasoned and gradually dried to reduce its moisture content and concentrate its natural flavour.

The biltong has a deep red colour, firm texture, and rich savoury taste with a distinctive game character. High in protein and lower in fat than beef biltong, it provides a nutritious alternative to conventional cured-meat snacks.

It can be enjoyed on its own as a protein-rich snack, thinly sliced and served on a charcuterie platter, or added to salads and other cold dishes.
