Palácio da Brejoeira Alvarinho Vinho Verde is one of the most recognized wines produced in the Monção e Melgaço subregion of northern Portugal, an area considered one of the finest terroirs for the Alvarinho grape variety. The wine is made exclusively from Alvarinho grapes grown in vineyards surrounding the historic Palácio da Brejoeira estate.

These vineyards are planted on granite soils and influenced by the Atlantic climate, which contributes to the wine’s freshness and mineral character. After careful harvesting, the grapes undergo controlled fermentation in order to preserve the primary aromas and varietal expression.

The aromatic profile typically features notes of citrus, peach, apricot, and white flowers, complemented by subtle mineral nuances. On the palate the wine is fresh, elegant, and well balanced, supported by vibrant acidity that gives it structure and a long finish.
