DDH Ghost in the Machine from Parish Brewing is a New England IPA with 8% ABV, representing an intensified version of their most renowned beer. The brewing process uses more than 8 pounds of Citra hops per barrel, resulting in exceptionally intense aromas and flavors.
The profile is dominantly juicy, with notes of grapefruit, mango, pineapple, and tropical fruit, complemented by subtle berry undertones that add complexity. Its texture is smooth and creamy, while the finish remains clean and dry, creating a balance between juiciness and hop intensity.
Despite its strong hop character, the beer avoids excessive bitterness and the so-called “hop burn”, leaving an impression of a rounded and highly drinkable IPA. Visually, it is hazy and golden, typical of the hazy IPA style, with a dense and persistent head.
Reviews describe it as the richest and juiciest IPA that Parish has produced to date.
