Pastelaria Chui Heong is a traditional Chinese bakery in Macau founded in 1957, renowned for its handmade pastries and baked goods that form an important part of the region's culinary heritage. It was established by Lei Kai Yuk and his wife Lai Oi Chan, and today the family business is managed by the third generation of the Lee family. The bakery has earned a strong reputation for preserving traditional production methods, most notably baking its pastries over charcoal, a technique that has become increasingly rare in Macau. Its best-known products include almond cookies, egg rolls, walnut cookies, and other traditional Chinese pastries prepared according to recipes passed down through generations. Rather than adopting large-scale industrial production, the company continues to emphasize handcrafted preparation, carefully selected ingredients, and the preservation of authentic flavors, making it one of Macau's most recognized destinations for traditional local specialties.
