Penderyn Hiraeth is the eighth release in Penderyn's Icons of Wales series, celebrating Welsh heritage. The term "Hiraeth" is a Welsh word that conveys a deep sense of longing or homesickness.

This single malt Welsh whisky is crafted using spirit predominantly from the distillery's pot stills, which were installed in 2014, and is finished in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, it offers a nose of toffee apple and pear tart with hints of almond pastry.

The palate presents rich vanilla flavors with a gradual build of cinnamon and peppercorn, leading to a finish reminiscent of Golden Grahams and milk chocolate.
