Thon Blanc à l’Huile d’Olive Bio from the brand Phare d’Eckmühl is an organic canned white tuna. The tuna comes from the northeastern Atlantic, from fishing zones between southern Ireland and northern Spain, where selective and sustainable fishing methods are used to minimize by-catch.

After the catch, the fish is processed by hand in Douarnenez, Brittany, within the facilities of Conserverie Chancerelle - the oldest active sardine cannery in the world. The tuna is packed in compact pieces, and the texture remains firm and fibrous, allowing it to be served in whole pieces rather than as shredded tuna.
