Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP Sgusciato are shelled pistachios from the Sicilian cooperative Pistacchio Smeraldo. The cooperative collects pistachios from its members and can trace each shipment back to the farm using a unique grower code.

Once the hard shell is removed, the elongated kernels retain their thin, reddish-purple skins. Break one open to reveal a vivid green interior. The pistachios have a bold, aromatic flavor when eaten on their own. Roughly chopped, they add color and texture to gelato or Sicilian nougat.
