Raptor 15° is the first IPA ever brewed by Pivovar Matuška and remains one of the brewery’s most iconic beers. With 15° Plato and around 6.3% ABV, it is built on a richer malt base composed of Pilsner, Munich, caramel malt, and Carapils, giving it a fuller body and deeper structure than typical Czech lagers.

The hop blend combines local Czech varieties such as Saaz Special and Premiant with American Amarillo and Cascade, resulting in a layered aromatic profile where citrus, tropical fruit, and gentle herbal notes intertwine. Its 55 IBU provides a clearly defined bitterness that stays balanced and does not compromise drinkability.

The flavor opens with a touch of malt sweetness, quickly shifting toward a pronounced hop character that leads into a clean, dry finish. The beer has an amber to light copper color and a medium-full body that offers solid structure while retaining a refreshing quality.

Raptor is unfiltered and unpasteurized, preserving fuller aroma and a natural expression of its ingredients. As a historically important release for the brewery, this IPA represents a successful fusion of Czech brewing heritage and modern hop-forward craft sensibilities, making it an excellent choice for those who appreciate expressive yet well-balanced hoppy beers.
