Querciabella is a family-owned wine estate in Tuscany, founded in 1974 when Giuseppe “Pepito” Castiglioni purchased a property in Ruffoli, above Greve in Chianti. It began producing wine in the Chianti Classico area and later expanded into coastal Maremma. Today, the estate has more than 50 hectares of vineyards in Chianti Classico and 42 hectares in Maremma. Pepito’s son, Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni, led the estate after him; it is now run by Pepito’s daughter Mita and her children, Andrea and Selene.
