Quicke's is a British artisanal cheese producer based at Home Farm in Devon, England. The Quicke family has farmed the same estate since 1540, while modern cheese production began in 1972 with the construction of a creamery and the revival of traditional Cheddar making on the farm. The company specializes in clothbound Cheddar cheeses made from the milk of its own herd of cows and matured while wrapped in cotton cloth using traditional methods characteristic of South West England. The entire production process, from cattle farming and milk production to cheese maturation, takes place on the farm, ensuring complete traceability and quality control. In addition to a range of Cheddar cheeses, the portfolio includes butter, blue cheese, goat's milk Cheddar, and other dairy products. Today, the company is led by Mary Quicke, the fourteenth generation of the Quicke family, continuing the family's long-standing cheesemaking tradition while applying modern principles of sustainable farming and land stewardship.
