Grande Reserva Tinto is a premium red wine from the Douro Valley produced by Quinta da Vacaria. The wine is made from selected grapes grown on the steep schist terraces typical of the Douro, where the warm climate and rugged landscape contribute to the concentration and character of the fruit.

After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels, which adds depth and complexity while preserving the identity of the Douro varieties. Aromatically, it reveals intense notes of ripe black fruits such as blackberry, plum, and black cherry, accompanied by hints of spice, cocoa, and subtle toasted oak.

On the palate the wine is full-bodied and structured, with firm but refined tannins and balanced acidity that supports its rich fruit profile. The texture is dense yet elegant, showing both power and precision typical of high-quality Douro reds.

The finish is long and persistent, highlighting the wine’s structure, depth, and ageing potential.
