Safoco is a Vietnamese food company specializing in pasta, noodles, rice paper and other dried food products. It began operating in 1995 as a state-owned enterprise associated with the food industry of Ho Chi Minh City. In 2005, it became a joint-stock company under the official name Safoco Foodstuff Joint Stock Company. Its headquarters and production facilities are located in Ho Chi Minh City. The company uses automated industrial lines for mixing ingredients, shaping, heat treatment, drying and packaging. Its range includes wheat noodles, pasta in various shapes, rice noodles, fine rice vermicelli and rice paper. The products are made from ingredients such as rice flour, wheat flour, tapioca starch, eggs, vegetables and salt. Its rice paper is produced by combining rice flour with tapioca starch. The assortment includes varieties for fresh rolls as well as sheets suitable for frying. Safoco exports its products to more than 85 countries including the United States, Japan, South Korea and member states of the European Union.
