Slivers Biltong & Nuts is a family-owned producer of biltong and other snacks based in Cape Town, South Africa. The company was founded in 1994 by husband-and-wife team Adrian and Rentia, who opened a small factory shop in the Noordhoek Valley, near Kommetjie and the scenic route leading to Cape Point.
Its biltong and droëwors are made at the company’s own facility using recipes and spice blends refined over more than two decades. The spices are mixed by hand, while production involves the careful selection of suppliers and raw meat, followed by cutting, seasoning, air-drying, and the manual selection of the finished pieces.
The biltong range includes beef, game, ostrich, and chicken varieties, as well as spiced biltong, chilli bites, Snapstix, and biltong powder. The company also produces beef and game droëwors, while its broader selection includes nuts, dried fruit, seeds, and healthy snacks.
