Stranahan's Original is a small-batch American single malt whiskey, handcrafted in Denver, Colorado. Distilled from 100% malted barley and aged for a minimum of four years in new American oak barrels with a #3 char, it is then cut to proof with Rocky Mountain spring water.
Each bottle is a marriage of barrels aged for 4, 5, 6, and 7 years, resulting in a rich and complex flavor profile. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV), it offers tasting notes of caramel-butterscotch, vanilla, maple syrup, and leather on the nose; cinnamon-butter, vanilla, chocolate, warm caramel, and spiced pear on the palate; and a finish of light fruitiness with a strong oak presence, rich tobacco, and aged leather.
Stranahan's Original is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in classic whiskey cocktails.
