Tariş İncir Birliği is a Turkish union of agricultural sales cooperatives specializing in the procurement, processing, and sale of figs. Its origins date to producer meetings held in Germencik and Aydın in 1912, while August 21, 1915 is recognized as its official founding date. Headquartered in İzmir, the union brings together twelve cooperatives from Aydın and İzmir provinces. Figs are purchased from member growers, assessed for quality, and labeled with origin and producer information to ensure traceability. The first processing facility opened in İzmir in 1943, while production was transferred to a modern complex in Germencik in 2006. The facility can store 12,000 tonnes of raw materials and process 15,000 tonnes of figs annually. Processing includes sorting, aflatoxin controls, washing, moisture adjustment, X-ray screening, metal detection, and laboratory testing. The range includes dried figs, diced figs, fig paste, fig jam, Turkish delight, dragees, chocolate-covered figs, and dried apricots. Tariş İncir Birliği sells its products throughout Turkey and exports them to more than thirty countries.
