Taste Nirvana is a family-owned Thai beverage brand founded by Jack Wattanaporn in 2003 to introduce authentic Thai flavors to international markets. The company is now managed by three generations of the Wattanaporn family, including Jack’s son Kris, who grew up in the United States and contributed to the development of products suited to the modern natural and functional beverage market. The family established its production facility in Nakhon Pathom Province, at the heart of one of Thailand’s best-known coconut-growing regions, allowing the fruit to be processed and bottled within hours of harvesting. Taste Nirvana works closely with local farmers and exclusively uses Thai coconuts, particularly the naturally sweet and aromatic Nam Hom variety, whose name translates as “fragrant water.” The brand is best known for its natural coconut water, while its range also includes varieties with coconut pulp, aloe vera, passion fruit, matcha, and coffee, as well as Thai tea, coffee lattes, and various fruit drinks. Before launching its coconut water, the family had spent decades producing ready-to-drink Thai coffee beverages using beans sourced from the mountainous areas of Chiang Mai. Taste Nirvana distinguishes itself through production close to the coconut groves, the short period between harvesting and bottling, and its emphasis on preserving the coconut’s pronounced natural flavor.
