Tenuta dell'Ornellaia Vendemmia d’Artista L’Infinito is a special limited-edition release of Ornellaia, part of the estate’s ongoing project that links each vintage with contemporary art. For the 2018 vintage, themed “La Grazia” the visual concept “L’Infinito” was created by Shirin Neshat, transforming the wine into both an enological and artistic expression.
The wine itself remains the classic Ornellaia blend, primarily based on Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, offering structure, depth, and long aging potential. Aromatically, it is complex and layered, with notes of blackcurrant, plum, and dark cherry, intertwined with cedar, tobacco, spice, and subtle balsamic nuances.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and refined, with polished tannins and a well-integrated freshness that balances its concentration. The texture is smooth yet powerful, combining richness with precision.
The finish is long and persistent, marked by dark fruit, spice, and mineral undertones. This edition stands not only as a high-quality wine but also as a collectible piece that reflects Ornellaia’s philosophy of merging fine winemaking with contemporary artistic vision.
