Tenyasu, also known as Tenyasu Honten, is a Japanese producer specializing in tsukudani, traditional preparations of fish, seafood, and seaweed simmered in seasoned soy sauce. Founded in 1837 in Tokyo’s Tsukuda district, on the former island of Tsukudajima, it continues to produce and sell its products there today.
