The Coffee Academics' Ninety Plus Geisha is a single-origin specialty coffee produced from the Geisha variety grown at Ninety Plus Gesha Estates in the Baru region of Panama, one of the world's most highly regarded producers of Geisha coffee. The coffee is sourced in partnership with this renowned estate, which is recognized for its sustainable cultivation practices and innovative processing methods that have contributed to numerous World Barista Championship-winning coffees. The Washed version is characterized by a medium body and a refined flavor profile featuring notes of cranberry, cherry, and jasmine, complemented by subtle hints of honey and oolong tea. The beans are grown at elevations between 1,500 and 1,700 meters above sea level and are medium roasted in Hong Kong to preserve the distinctive floral and fruit-driven characteristics of the Geisha variety.
