Theakston is an independent, family-owned brewery founded in 1827 in the town of Masham, North Yorkshire, in the heart of the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. The brewery proudly preserves traditional fermentation methods and manual craftsmanship, and is especially notable for its cooperage - one of the few remaining in the UK where oak casks are still handcrafted and repaired on-site.
