Blog Tinto is a red wine produced by Tiago Cabaço in Portugal’s Alentejo region, created from carefully selected grapes grown in low-yield vineyards to achieve concentration and depth. The wine is typically a blend of varieties such as Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, and Syrah, grapes that thrive in the warm climate of Alentejo and contribute structure and aromatic intensity.

Fermentation often takes place in traditional lagares with foot treading, allowing gentle extraction of color and tannins. After fermentation, the wine ages for about 15 months in French oak barrels, which adds complexity and refinement to its structure.

In the glass it shows a deep ruby color and aromas of ripe red and dark fruits such as cherry, blackberry, and plum, accompanied by subtle floral notes and hints of spice. On the palate it is full-bodied and concentrated, yet balanced by smooth tannins and fresh acidity.

The wine has a layered and elegant profile with a long, persistent finish. Blog Tinto represents one of the more ambitious expressions in the Tiago Cabaço portfolio and pairs particularly well with grilled red meats, roasted dishes, and game.
