Barovo is one of the most distinctive wines produced by Tikveš and comes from the high-altitude vineyard of the same name, situated at around 700 meters above sea level. The red version is typically a blend of Kratošija and Vranec, offering a deep ruby color and intense aromas of dark forest fruits, dried plum, and black pepper, while aging in French oak adds layers of smoke, vanilla, and spice.

The palate is full and multi-layered, with firm yet harmoniously integrated tannins that provide structure and allow for long aging potential. Barovo represents a combination of authentic local varieties, careful winemaking, and the recognizable style of Tikveš, confirming its status as a premium wine that performs equally well in its youth and after extended cellaring.
