Poulter’s Porter is a traditional English dark beer brewed by Timothy Taylor’s Brewery in Keighley. This porter-style ale has an alcohol content of 4.8% and is known for its rich aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, and a gentle smoky finish.

The flavor reveals layers of vanilla, roasted malt, and subtle spice, creating a warm and complex drinking experience. It is brewed using pure Knowle Spring water and a carefully selected malt blend: Golden Promise, brown, chocolate, and crystal rye malts.

Fermentation is carried out with Timothy Taylor’s proprietary multi-generation yeast strain. Poulter’s Porter has received multiple awards, including a gold medal at the International Brewing Awards.

The beer is named in honor of Arthur Poulter, a Victoria Cross recipient and former maltings worker at the brewery. Best served at 11-13°C, it pairs excellently with spiced dishes, smoked meats, and mature cheeses.

This porter offers an authentic and flavorful experience, perfect for cold evenings and fans of classic British dark ales.
