Vinagre de Jerez Gran Reserva

n/a ·

Vinagre de Jerez Gran Reserva by Tramontana is a Spanish wine vinegar produced by Vinagrería La Andaluza in Jerez de la Frontera, Andalusia. It bears the Vinagre de Jerez protected designation of origin and belongs to the Gran Reserva category, defined by extended ageing.

Made from wines from the Jerez region, it matures for at least ten years in oak casks using the traditional criaderas y soleras system. The gradual blending of younger and older stocks contributes to its character, while prolonged contact with oak enriches its aromatic profile.

It displays a deep mahogany colour and a silky texture, with a pronounced aroma featuring notes of aged wine and oak. The palate is rounded, full, and dry, with hints of nuts and spices and a long, acidic finish. It is recommended for dressings, salads, and gazpacho, where its fruitiness and acidity complement the other ingredients.
