Papale Linea Oro Primitivo di Manduria is Varvaglione’s flagship wine and one of the most representative expressions of Primitivo from southern Apulia. Made from 100% Primitivo grapes grown in the Manduria area, it reflects the warm Mediterranean climate and iron-rich red soils that give the wine its depth and concentration.

The wine shows intense aromas of ripe plum, black cherry and blackberry, layered with notes of vanilla, cocoa and sweet spices from oak aging. On the palate it is full-bodied, rich and smooth, with ripe, well-integrated tannins and a rounded, velvety texture.

Despite its power, the wine maintains balance and a pleasant freshness that supports its long, persistent finish. Its style is generous and structured, yet polished, highlighting the natural richness of the variety.
