Roquefort Black Label is a French blue cheese made from raw sheep’s milk by Vernières Frères in Roquefort-sur-Soulzon, in the Aveyron department. It holds AOP protected designation of origin status and is one of this family-owned cheese producer’s flagship selections, intended primarily for specialist cheese shops.
Black Label stands out for its careful selection and controlled maturation, which give it an especially creamy texture and a full, expressive character. Its softness complements the intensity of the blue mould, creating a rich, rounded flavour. It is best served slightly below room temperature to allow its texture and aromas to develop fully.
