Salame Felino IGP produced by Veroni Salumi is an authentic Italian cured meat product with a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) certification, reflecting the rich tradition and quality of the Felino area in the Emilia-Romagna region. Veroni Salumi uses only high-quality pork from Italy, sourced from pigs weighing over 160 kg.

The blend consists of 70% lean meat and 30% selected fatty parts, such as pancetta. The meat is coarsely ground, and whole grains of salt, pepper, garlic, and dry white wine are added.

The mixture is then stuffed into natural pig casings, manually tied, and left to dry and mature in controlled conditions for 4 to 6 weeks. Salame Felino has an irregular cylindrical shape, with one end wider than the other.

Its texture is compact and non-elastic, and the color of the slices is intensely red, without spots, with white marbling from the fat. The aroma is strong and characteristic, while the flavor is mild and delicate.
