Prestige Pošip Barrique is a dry white wine produced by the Vina Deak winery in the Komarna wine region of southern Dalmatia, Croatia, made from the indigenous Pošip grape variety. The wine is characterized by a deep golden-yellow color and a full-bodied structure that reflects both the richness of the grape and the influence of oak aging.

After fermentation, part of the wine matures for about a year in oak barrique barrels, followed by additional aging in stainless steel tanks and in the bottle, which contributes to greater complexity and balance. Aromatically, it typically shows notes of ripe stone fruit, citrus, and Mediterranean herbs, complemented by subtle hints of vanilla and toasted wood from the barrel aging.

On the palate, the wine is structured and layered, with balanced acidity and a long, persistent finish. With an alcohol level of around 13.5%, it represents a more complex interpretation of Pošip compared to fresher styles of the variety.

The wine pairs well with Mediterranean cuisine, particularly seafood dishes, grilled fish, and shellfish. Prestige Pošip Barrique has also gained recognition at international wine competitions, including a gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, highlighting the growing reputation of wines from the Komarna region.
