Cuvée No. 1 is one of the signature wines of Vinarija Zvonko Bogdan, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon crafted to combine concentration, elegance, and complexity. The wine matures for 13 months in barrique barrels, gaining finely integrated oak tones and additional depth.

The aroma is dominated by blackberry, blackcurrant, and dark cherry, complemented by subtle hints of graphite, mint, and gentle toasty notes. On the palate, it is full and harmonious, with soft, well-integrated tannins, lively yet rounded freshness, and a long finish marked by flavours of plum, cocoa, and delicate spice.

Technical parameters - such as 14.5% alcohol and carefully balanced acidity - underline the wine’s serious and structured character. It pairs beautifully with lamb chops, veal, beef steak, or aged cheeses, where its full body and layered profile can truly shine.
