Picual is an extra virgin olive oil produced from the Picual variety, one of the most well-known and widely cultivated olives in Spain, and increasingly grown in Portugal. This oil is part of the premium line from Viveiros Monterosa, a producer managing 20 hectares of olive groves in eastern Algarve. It is characterized by strong fruity aromas with mild spicy and grassy notes.

It has a pronounced but balanced bitterness and pungency, which are typical for this variety. It is ideal for use in salads, marinades, roasted vegetables, grilled dishes, and as an addition to soups.
